Journey Through the Rapids
Founded in 2005 by three enthusiastic paddle aficionados, the club has flourished, evolving alongside the advancements in paddle sports. Sustained memberships and strategic reinvestment have enabled the club to amass an impressive array of equipment, ensuring everyone's enjoyment, whether in the pool or navigating the river.

Doncaster Paddlesports proudly holds affiliation with Paddle UK (formerly British Canoeing England), underscoring its dedication to upholding Paddle UK's stringent standards for safeguarding and governance.

Get on the Water with Doncaster Paddlesports Club
At our club, we prioritise a secure environment for kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding, and rafting, with water safety as our top concern.
Thanks to Doncaster Culture and Leisure Trust's excellent facilities, we offer weekday evening kayak sessions in a heated pool.
These cater to both beginners seeking an introduction to the sport and experienced individuals honing their skills for open waters. One highlight is our river trips, where beginners progress under the guidance of our coaches and experienced members.
Start with the basics
Looking for a fun and safe way to learn kayaking, canoeing, or paddleboarding? Look no further than our weekly pool sessions. Held every Thursday at The Dome, Doncaster, our sessions are designed for beginners who want to learn the basics of these exciting water sports.
For the more experienced
At Doncaster Paddlesports Club, we believe that kayaking, canoeing, and paddleboarding are more than just sports. They're a way of life. That's why we offer lake and river training sessions for individuals and groups who want to get the most out of their time on the water.
