River Sessions

Experience the Freedom of River Excursions with Us

We take immense pride in our river excursions. These trips are the culmination of rigorous training, dedication, and honed skills acquired in our training facilities. Here, paddlers harmonize with the natural environment, achieving a seamless unity between themselves and nature. Our river journeys provide a unique opportunity for paddlers to unlock their full capabilities alongside fellow enthusiasts who share a common objective of ensuring each other's safety while relishing the outdoor adventure.

Ensuring safety is our topmost priority, and we extend a warm invitation to all river enthusiasts to join our excursions. However, participation is by invitation from the trip leader only, which allows us to meticulously assess proficiency levels and customise the expedition to match your skills. This ensures that every participant enjoys the adventure to the fullest extent possible.

Here you'll find some useful information on river gradings, what they mean and what skill level is required to traverse them safely: https://gopaddling.info/river-gradings-simple-guide/

So how does it work?

What?

River trips of varying difficulty will be briefed once a location is established and river conditions assessed. The trip leader will continually monitor conditions right up to the event and may either change the grading in the interest of safety and enjoyment, or cancel the event for all.

Who?

Members over the age of 8 and under the age of 16 with the ability to undertake a planned trip (N.B by invite of the trip leader only) are to be accompanied by an adult. Whether as a participant or as a welcome spectator.
